Melanie C's younger brother Paul dreams on being a race car driver.

He's gotten his hands on Melanie's R-reg Mercedes SLK, and lost control of the car hitting a lamp post.

Paul remarks:

"She'll batter me for this. I needed to get to work and Melanie has always said she doesn't mind who uses the car."

All the Spice Girls got one of the Mercs for helping the German firm launch the new McLaren Formula One car.

For the record Melanie C encourages Paul's dreams.

The Spice Girls may close a deal with Disney very shortly for an animated movie about, the Spice Girls.

Disney wishes to complete the deal so they can start work on the movie. If the deal is closed we can expect a 1999 release, loads of merchasing and a possible tv series.

Hmmm....We'll have to wait and see. Sounds like it's make the Girls too cartoonish

On the eve of striking off on her own, atleast part-time, Melanie C has just moved out of her home.

Melanie just purchased an apartment in Liverpool (waterfront) for £200,000. Melanie C has been living at home with her mother in Widnes, Cheshire since she bought the home at the moment the Spice Girls became world-wide super star. Joan need not worry, Melanie's new home only keeps 15 miles of seperation between mother and daughter.

To all our surprises, Melanie C has taken a step towards solo recording.

Melanie C features on Bryan Adams' "On A Day Like Today" album. She sings on "When You're Gone".

Could this mean more solo Melanie C stuff to expect?

The Spice Girls debut movie is out now on DVD in Germany.

Toymax will launch a full line of Spice(TM) Girls Toy Line.

The toy line will include 3" and 6" figurines aswell as a dress-up line, microphone, headphones and much much more.

Sony Reports that the Spice Girls Playstation Game has sold out. The game was released in June, and it's sold 75,000 units in the first two months.

According to Sony the release of the game has opened up a large new market for them. The primary buyers have been pre-teen girls, teen-aged girls, and mothers.

It's estimated that 20% of the girls who bought the game have had to buy the hardware necessary to play the video game.

This new market means Sony will have to create more games marketed for the girls and women who have bought the Playstation and the Spice Girls Playstation game.

Rumour has it that the Spice Girls have a new single to release in time for Christmas.

The single was recorded while on tour and is the first cut off the third Spice Girls album yet untitled. The stage of the progress of the album is unknown.
