You are not going to believe what I have done... I went out on Sunday night for a quite meal with friends and just as we were leaving, I fell down the stairs!!!

Since then my foot has been about ten times the size as usual and really sore and today I finally decided to get it X-rayed, and yes, you guesssed it, I've broken my right foot....well I've broken the bone that connects the little toe to the foot...but it still hurts like hell!!! (You're probably not interested but it's a 'spiral fracture' apparently!)

Anyway I just wanted you all to know.... I also wanted to say that as far as the tour goes : nothing changes... the show must go on, as they say. So come next Monday (4/9) I'll be there at the Assembly rooms in Derby, banging out all the tunes as usual, just don't expect too many back flips or somersaults, my little toe's having none of it!!!"

As reported earlier I Turn To You is at number 30 on the World Chart show with Never Be The Same Again following right behind at number 31! This is I Turn To You's first week and NBTSA's 20th week on the chart.

Northern Star rises to the highest position yet (read on)!

Madonna reaches the number one spot this week on the UK Singles Chart bumping Spiller to number 2, Victoria to number 3, Robbie to number 4 and our darling Melanie to number 5. "ITTY" moves up to number 8 on the WorldPop Global Chart! In an amazing come back Melanie's "Northern Star" jumps from number 17 last week to number 4 this week! She has moved up one spot closer to number one! Last time "Northern Star" reached that high it only managed to ctach the number 5 spot....maybe we'll see her move up even closer next week. Let's hope! "NBTSA" moves down on the Top 20 2000 chart to number 9. The World Chart Shows website won't post the new chart until tomorrow....but Nicksbutterflies, who listened to the show live today, has informed me that I Turn To You was on the chart at number 30! And It'll just keep on getting better...I can feel it.

The album is entitled "Forever" and not "The Great Divide" or "Spice 2000" as previously rumoured.

Virgin Records re-releases Melanie C's "Northern Star" today with two bonus tracks, remixes of "I Turn To You" by Hex Hector and "Never Be The Same Again" with a more R'N'B feel.

Virgin's decision comes after the album became out of stock for many stores therefore leading Virgin to produce new copies since the album continues to sell very well in Europe and other international markets.

Well the numbers are in. Victoria didn't get her number one, but a number two isn't that bad now is it? Melanie C's ITTY was knocked down to number four and Robbie still sticks to the number three spot on the UK 75 Singles Chart. Northern Star hangs on strong in the UK 75 Albums Chart at number 17 (16 last week). ITTY enters WorldPop's Global Chart at number 13, NBTSA slides to number 32 on the same chart! Biut, don't worry NBTSA is still holding on strong on the UK's Top 20 2000 Chart at number 8. If that wasn't enough NBTSA is still present on the UK R'N'B Charts at number 40. Congrats Melanie! ITTY has been following the footsteps pf NBTSA charting the top spot in three countires as well as breaking the records in Germany bu entering the charts at the highest number since 1997! What a great acheivement. I'm sure the single will be topping a few more chartrs shortly. We can't wait for your next single, "IF That Were Me". Melanie C's NBTSA is at number 27 this week on the World Chart Show, ITTY has yet not entered the top 40. Hopefully it will next week cause we know the track is extremely hot.

Johan Camitz, the director who was incharge of the Spice Girls debut video for Wannabe has passed away in a tragic car crash.

The Spice Girls are shocked and saddened.

ITTY has shot straight into the number one spot in the UK Singles Chart. Northern Star the Album moves into number 16...I it'll move up now that ITTY is number 1. Never Be The Same Again is still on the WorldPop Global Chart at number 24. NBTSA also moves up to number 34 on the UK R'N'B Chart! NBTSA also remains at number 8 on the Top 20 2000 Chart! Congrats Melanie!

"It's a bit more grown up and mature and a hell of a lot stronger, vocally and lyrically. We've worked with Rodney Jerkins quite a lot who's done some great stuff with Destiny's Child. He gives the album an R&B flavor but the four of us give it that pop element."

Melanie C went on air recently with KissFM 100 and told listeners, when asked how good Robbie was in bed, that he was not good at all!

Nicklas L. reports that our Melanie has reached the topspot here in Sweden with her album "Northern Star"! I'm so thrilled with that! Especially when it's nearly 10 months since the release of it! Next week, "ITTY" will take the topspot over Sweden's most sold singles! It's such a HUGE hit here!

"We've taken our time with it. The reason its taken so long is that we've all wanted to do our own thing as well. It's a really great album and we're very proud of it. It's a bit more of a mature sound but that's natural as two of us have had babies and we've all grown up a lot. My personal favorite is a song called 'If You Want To Have Some Fun'. It's quite swingbeat, very summery and it's very 'up there'. But it still has that Spice Girls feel to it."

Live on Galaxy FM, yesterday, Melanie C commented on Geri's recent pictures taken with "romancing" and boyband losers (hmm hmm J!)

In regards to J, Melanie C said: "Don't bother with blokes from boy bands!"

Victoria phone-called in order to poke fun of Geri. Melanie C was asked if she'd date someone just for the publicity. Melanie remarked she'd have to date a different man a day to get the publicity "needed". Victoria then suggested Melanie C lounge around by a pool wearing a bikini and take random photos with men. Melanie C added in she'd need a dog on her lap.

The new Spice Girls album will be released on November 6th.

The Spice Girls have been writing and recording over the course of the last 14 months. The third record, currently untitled was recorded at several locations including studios in London, Los Angeles and Miami. The Girls have been writing and working with such well known producers as Rodney Jerkins, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. The first single will be released on October 23rd. However, some lucky fans did get to hear early versions of a few tracks when the Girls performed their sold out shows at Earl's court way back in December.

"We are stronger after being apart for a while and we're very happy to have been back together in the studio," Melanie C said of their forthcoming release. "This strength will show on this new album, which I think is out best yet."

Northern Star is doing well in the UK75 album charts. The album has managed to remain in the top 20 for two weeks...and will hopefully keep on moving up the charts with help of the latest single, I TURN TO YOU. This week Northern Star is at number 20 on the UK 75 Albums Chart.

Never Be The Same Again, Melanie C's third and most successful single, remains on the Top 20 2000 charts, standing still at number 8. The same single finds its way to number 19 on the World Chart Show. It also holds the 37th spot on the UK R'n'B Albums Chart. NBTSA also slips to number 21 on the WorldPop Gobal Chart.

Congrats Melanie! LEts all chip in and make I TURN TO YOU Melanie's second number one by purchasing her singles and requesting her on Radio 1 and any other radio station available. Radio 1 is one of England most reknown radio stations, that is why I stress its importance, since it hits various audiences and helps promote a single.

Chum FM is an adult oriented radio station in Toronto that is used in many businesses and stores as background music, which means Melanie will be heard by millions of people in the Toronto area! But not only does Canada have a Mel C craze, Never Be The Same Again has begun to invade the US stations aswell. Rumor has it that a radio station in Buffalo has been playing NBTSA constantly....so if you know what radio station it is please let us know so we can congratulate them on their great taste!
