Fat Les will be competing against twelve new World Cup songs which will be release in the next two weeks. Fat Les releases their new track on the 3rd of June.

I'm going to start saving up those pennies. Fat Les has released several World Cup songs, and theirs are the most succesful World Cup singles. But, the competition will be tough this year and I plan to help Melanie C enter the charts high...let's all aim for a the top spot.

The-raft.co.uk, the official Virgin Website, has updated fans with a brief story about Mels visit to the re-opening of the "Women and Health Center" in London on the 23rd. They've provided a link to the "Women and Health Center" site which mentions Melanie C's visit. No pictures are poste on either sites.

The Spice Girls have won a Guiness award for being the 8th most successful single in the UK with "Wannabe".

Melanie C has attended the re-opening of the 'Women and Health Center' in London. The center is the only environmentally friendly, disabled accessible health center in the London area. The center specialises in the use of alternative therapies.

Neither Worldpop, Dotmusic or BBC's Radio 1 can confirm a release date for Fat Les' single "Who Invented Fish and Chips? (Pop It In The Onion Bag)" featuring Melanie C.

There are rumoured dates flying around on the web, all that is certain is that the single was slated in for a June release to coincide with the World Cup. We'll keep you posted with the official news from those music websites and won't post up rumours that tend to confuse.

Melanie C, Keith Allen, Alex James, Dave Rowntree and D. Hirst have just finished recording the video to their World Cup unofficial theme song, "Who Invented Fish and Chips? (Pop It In The Onion Bag)" the 3AM girls can report.

According to LPAGP, NME.COM reports that Melanie C has donated trainers, shoes and boots for the Terrence Higgins Trust fundraiser that will take place on May 22nd at Covent Garden, London.

Thirty Smart Cars will park in the Covent Garden Market's East Piazza at 11am and bids for the footwear will be open to the public, many other celebrities have participated.

Speaking to fans, Melanie C has expressed her desire to record an MTV Unplugged once her second album is complete. She states that she has done several unplugged, acoustic, numbers for MTV UK and would love to do a complete show of it. So far she's done about five acoustic tracks for the channel.

The Spice GIrls have gotten into the Guiness World Records British Hit Singles book.

According to the Guiness World Record, the Spice Girls debut single "Wannabe" is in the top 10 of the most liked singles of all time. "2 Become 1" is at number 78 and "Holler" is at number 82.

Rumour

Two new tracks off of Melanie C's upcoming album are titled "Electrifying" and "Love And Affection". The tracks have gotten great reviews from those who have heard that tracks already.
