It's funny to see the tabloids, who just weeks ago said she didn't fit in her thong(horrid story), say she's trimmed up and looks great....this after she was snapped at the Playstation 2 party a few days ago.

Yes, Melanie showed a slightly more mature look with rich black hair, and the removal of her golden tooth! She looks great and her smile shines even more without that golden tooth.

Melanie C joined Guy Oseary and a large amount of celebraties at the Playstation 2 Party yesterday in LA. As you can tell she looks gorgeous and this should set rumours down of her appearance and what not, obviously the break from the lime-light, the love (Thomas Starr), and LA are doing the Spice Girl some good. If the new album is anywhere as good as she looks right now, it's been worth the wait!

Not too much has happened since the last report, except for unraveling of rumours.

A lot of emails have been flying in about the Spice Girls re-union and the Spice Girls new record deal for the Greatest Hits album with some additional new tunes to be recorded seperately by each girls since their work schedules aren't matching up.

Here is the low down on the "official" truth:

1- The Spice Girls are a group, they would be recording together not seperately.

2- The Spice Girls, according to Virgin and Spice HQ, have no scheduled release plans other than solo releases.

3- A greatest hits album has been rumoured for a while, but the girls have not confirmed a date for a release...therefore Dec 2003 is unlikely.

4- No Spice Girls Tour has been planned (despite tabloid rumours).

5- Melanie C is the next Spice Girl to release solo material with a single in Jan and an album in Feb, according to Melanie C herself.

6- Emma is working on a new album (no recording deal yet), Victoria is rumoured to have signed to Craig David's recording company (no comment on new album yet), Melanie B is focussing on acting and plans to return to music within a year.

I hope this clears up some recent misconceptions. I wish rumours weren't so juicy...then we wouldn't want to believe them and we wouldn't need Virgin or Spice HQ to burst the bubbles of imagination.
