Blur's singer refuses Mel...and Mel judges others
Melanie was one of the judges at the Q review music awards this year. After the awards were presented the judges and the winners and guests got to mingle and take pics together. Well, Mel appears in the magazine with Macy Gray and a few others but Blur's singer was quoted saying, "Why would I want to take a photo with Mel C". Well the reporter responded quite nicely in the magazine by reminding us all that he was "once romanitcally linked with...Mel C". Sounds like he is behaving like a baby. She is a great woman! My question is who wouldn't want to take a photo with Mel C?Melanie C is also quoted:

What do you think of it so far?
"It's brilliant, although it's too short. I've been to award ceremonies before that have dragged on, especially ones in America. But this ceremony could have lasted longer."
Are you just here for the crack?
"Yes, now that I'm a solo artist i enjoy turning up at these sort of events on my own. Also William Orbit, who worked as a producer on my album, won the Best Producer award so I came here to give him a bit of support."
You were also one of the judges for that award weren't you? Did you vote for William Orbit?
"I'm not telling."
Was there anyone you were looking forward to meeting?
"I didn't know who was coming, but now I'm here excited so many of my favorite bands are in the same room- Travis, Stereophonics and especially Blur. I think 13 is the best album of this year and they're underrated at the moment. So it was great to see them win Best Act In The World Today. I was really happy for them."
Have you met any of Blur today?
"Yes, Alex. I just said they really deserved to win."
Have you chatted to Ronnie Wood or Keith Richards?
"I'm too shy to go up to someone and start a conversation. Chrissie Hyde just said "hello". I've never met her before."
What's the best thing that's happened to you this year?
"I'm still excited about my show in the Astoria in London earlier this week. I love being in the Spice Girls bu there's something special about getting up on stage and doing your wond stuff. It was a fantastic experience. It rocked!"
Then to top it off the reporter added Melanie's vote (picture of it)and the subtext reads: Melanie C get her vote- and a little innuendo-in. [the vote reads: THAT WAS SO HARD said the actress to the bishop. see ya next week x ( she voted for Rick Rubin..Chili PEPS)]
