Mel C: Hello, Thank You very much!
I'm really happy to come back here in Italy, you're very lucky, italians!
Fuego: What about Northern Star having success only after NBTSA release?
Mel C: Well, sometimes a songs needs to be in people's heads. And a good single can change the destiny of the album. You know, maybe this is what happened with Never Be The Same Again.That's a very good song for me, which shows the album in another way.
Fuego: Will you go on with your solo career or is 'Northern Star' just going to be your only one experience?
Mel C: No, no. I will surely go on. I'm enjoying it a lot. But I'll also go on with the Spice Girls!
Fuego: But what everybody really really wants is updated news on the Spice Girls! There are rumours about Spice Girls releasing their third album really soon. What can you say about it?
Mel C: It's true. I confirm everything. We've almost finished the recording. We've just to do some things. It's at the mixing stage. But we'll surely give it to the public before Christmas.
It'll be great! It'll be our first album as fourpiece, so we've had to change some things.There will be some important collaborations. The production will be american, as usual.And there will be a change in the sound too. It's pop, but also a bit R&B.It won't surely disappoint you!
Fuego: So, what about love? I've read in the papers about you flirting with Bryan Adams, or Robbie Williams or J from 5ive!
Mel C: What??? Can't believe this! (laughing a lot). Well, I'm always in the public eye and if I talk to anyone, it's gonna be my boyfriend, according to the press! Bryan Adams is a great friend of mine, but I don't fancy him really! Robbie Williams was an old story, i forgot everything! J from 5ive is just a good friend!
Fuego: What do you think about italians?
Mel C: I find them very sexy!
Fuego: What about a duet with Bon Jovi?
Mel C: Well, it's really a good thing I would do, but what you've heard were just rumours! I never talked to him, so they're just rumours!
Fuego: Could you ever duet with Geri?
Mel C: Sure! But I would also work with Tina Turner, actually, or Lenny Kravitz. A lot of people I would work with.
Fuego: Are you gonna have any holidays this summer?
Mel C: no, no any holidays. i really like working. I'll have a break around Xmas.
Fuego: What about this little tatoo? A star?
Mel C: It'll remember me my solo experience. I had success and I celebrated it with a tatoo!
Fuego: So, what's next?
Mel C: I will start with a tour really soon, then the release of the Spice Girls 3rd album in November and my next album next year! I'm a really busy girl!
