Spiceworld UK and Euro1998

The Tour that started and ended it all. Before the Spiceworld Tour, the Spice Girls had conquered the world but had never performed live to their fans, except for small presentations the girls had never toured. In 1998 the girls took both their album on the road with their much anticipated Spiceworld Tour. Though the show was a success, stress within the group grew and on the last night of the first leg of the tour news that Geri was sick spread. Geri was not present at the groups last concert of the European Leg of the Spiceworld Tour.

Following the news of Geri's illness speculation arose. The press quickly got news that Geri had indeed walked out on the group. The girls took a break in England, re-worked the tour, and didn't let down their fans Stateside. Despite Geri's absense, the tour went down a hit, culminating in a spectacular concert at Wembley Stadium. The concert was broadcast to thousands of fans world-wide. England welcomed the girls back with their own Holiday upon their arrival from the United States.
